Fr. Christopher (Chris) McDermott, C.S.Sp. of Worchester, MA, a member of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, died at Frankford Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, with his sister, Susan, by his side. He was 73 years old.

Fr. Joseph M. Herzstein, C.S.Sp., of Philadelphia, PA, a member of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, died peacefully on March 13, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Arusha, Tanzania. He was 88 years of age.

The Texas Mission Council (TMC) Annual Conference was held at Mexican American Catholic College in San Antonio from February 21-23. Not only did Houston Spiritan Friends and donors participate in the conference, but they also helped the TMC Board with the planning and execution of the event.
