The Spiritan Office for Mission Advancement, Houston- area Spiritans, and friends had a fun-filled evening with international music and food to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the U.S. Province.
On February 28, we celebrate the feast day of Blessed Daniel Brottier. Fr. Brottier was a Spiritan priest who served as a chaplain during WWI, missionary in Senegal, and beloved administrator of an orphanage outside of Paris.
The scripture for this Sunday invites us to reflect on what it means to walk in God’s way of love. We all must choose how we are to follow the wisdom of God so that we can love one another without counting the cost.
Jesus challenges us to be witnesses who will cause others to give God glory by our actions. To be salt and light of the world will be reason enough to have hope in our troubled times.
