In addition to our 150th Anniversary, the Spiritans of the United States Province wish to celebrate Holy Ghost Prep on its 125th Anniversary this year.

The marginalized populations served by the Spiritan presence today in the Archdiocese of Baltimore are multifaceted.

One of several events celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Spiritans in the United States was a 663-mile pilgrimage in November through western Louisiana.

The season of Advent has arrived. If there was ever a perfect time to reflect on hope, expectations, and our readiness to receive our Savior once more in our lives, this is the time.

On November 20, 2022, St. Mark the Evangelist in Harlem, NY recognized the 150th Anniversary of the U.S. Province of the Spiritans with Mass and a celebration.

This  Sunday is the last Sunday in Ordinary Time. Next Sunday we begin the liturgical season of Advent. Before entering Advent, the Church invites us to recognize Jesus as Christ the King of the Universe. 

In Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus who is our hope reminds us that no matter our difficulties, God is present with us all.

The Scriptures for this Sunday invite us to trust in the promise of Christ who is the resurrection itself. We must make our souls ready to be alive with God forever.

This month, we’re honoring the men and women from Africa who have pioneered the Catholic faith! Black Catholics have had a huge impact on the history and traditions of Christianity. Spiritans have had a role in the evangelization of Africans and African-Americans since its founding.
